W3 and DIY circuit board calibration

What follow will explain you how to calibrate the hive scales BroodMinder-W3 model or for the BroodMinder-DIY

Calibration (DIY and W3UA Only)

You will now calibrate your scale using the Bees App.

You will find the calibration screen in the Bees App at Devices Tab > [Device name] > ... > Show details > ... > Troubleshooting > Calibrate Scale

Remove all weight from the scale. Get a known weight to calibrate the scale. The page should look something like this:

Hit Tare -> This sets it all to zero. Then enter the weight of the object you're using to calibrate as the "Test Weight". The app will then prompt what to do.

Put the weight on one load cell, press Pos 1 (position 1). Then wait for the app to prompt to move to position 2, and it will turn the Pos 2 button green. Put the weight on the next load cell and press Pos 2. Continue this for all remaining load cells (This depends on your scale. For example W5 has only one load cell, so only Pos 1 will be enabled).

When the test button is finally green, press Test. Then test the scale by putting different weights on it. The live weight will be updating above. If it is ok, press Save Cal. Wait for it to save and you're done.
